Walmart customers slam ‘terrible customer service’ amid self-checkout machine debacle

Consumers are slamming retailers, including Walmart, for recent examples of “terrible customer service”.
Shoppers are becoming more open about their criticisms of stores and the lack of quality customer care.
Walmart, among other retailers like Target, has been particularly spotlighted by some customers as of late.

Daily Express US has previously covered the various issues people have had shopping at retailers, particularly with self-checkout machines.
Customers have taken to social media platforms to share their shopping experiences with the retail giant.
One Twitter/U user shared their recent experience purchasing items from the superstore which has not gone well.
They explained: “I have two pending orders, status delayed, with no explanation or new estimated shipping date for days.
“I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve contacted your terrible customer service, and no one has bothered to help. Shame on you guys.”
Another shared: “I expected it to be bad but am blown away at just how bad the customer service at Walmart has been. It’s almost impressive.”
A user called Sherry Cox said: “Customer service sucks and don’t they don’t care. $122.47 down the drain.
“I will never buy from them again. I just should have stuck with Target. Lesson Learned.”
However, Walmart is not the only big retailer that has come under fire in recent years with shoppers also aiming at Target.
Some have criticized the store for the long lines that have come about due to self-checkout machines.
A Twitter/User said: “@Target you can’t kick me out of the ’10 items or less’ self-checkout unless you open a reasonable number of staffed registers.
“Tonight I was denied a two-minute checkout of 19 small items and had to wait in 1 of 4 staffed lines (out of 14) to receive a 15-minute checkout.”
